In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Новгород TS's goalkeeper Tord Åkerman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 4 minutes into the match, Hungary's Major Barna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tord Åkerman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Balazs Lajos in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tord Åkerman saved Новгород TS from getting behind. Tord Åkerman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Balazs Lajos's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after Новгород TS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Vörös Henrik got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tord Åkerman quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tord Åkerman having to interfere. Tord Åkerman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Viviano Baños in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Viviano Baños struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Fodor Daniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Новгород TS. Hungary's Takacs Tibor got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fodor Daniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Georgiy Baburin in the 43rd minute. Antal Valentin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tord Åkerman having to make a save. The Новгород TS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hungary were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antal Valentin to strike the kick off in the second half. The corner led Hungary's Antal Valentin to fire away a dangerous shot which Tord Åkerman despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Antal Valentin could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Tord Åkerman however easily saved by the left post. 56 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Viviano Baños came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Новгород TS's Stanislaw Maziarski got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tord Åkerman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 63rd minute. Antal Valentin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tord Åkerman came out and tried to block the shot, but Antal Valentin slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 63rd minute. Major Barna hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viviano Baños, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute Новгород TS were awarded a corner. Daniil Nikeshin went to the cornerflag to take it. Stanislaw Maziarski kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. A collision led to Новгород TS getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Georgiy Noskov hit a great ball. 79 minutes in the game Antal Valentin after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Tord Åkerman. A very good opportunity. When Hungary's Takacs Tibor in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Новгород TS's goalie prevented a goal. 84 minutes into the match, Новгород TS's goalkeeper Tord Åkerman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Valentin. After 85 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Szekeres Tamas. After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Daniil Nikeshin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Daniil Nikeshin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Viviano Baños's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Hegedus Henrik hit a great ball. Tord Åkerman made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Antal Valentin sent off a good shot on target. The Новгород TS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hungary were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
