The wind increased when Samuele Kunz made the kick off in the second half. Sten Björk's late challenge caught a Switzerland's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sten Björk helped the player get up and apologised. Hias Nüssli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sture Åhlberg in the 74th minute of the match. Hias Nüssli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sture Åhlberg in the 76th minute of play. Switzerland's attentive Timo Siegmund managed to snatch the ball when Sture Brolin made a throw-in in the 85th minute of the game. Rodrigo von Känel hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Wrexham A.F.C.'s Sture Åhlberg got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Switzerland were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
