After taking down the ball on Moneteria's corner Eugeniusz Malewicki fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arnout Reekers quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 14th minute of play forced Moneteria's goalkeeper Kacper Tobias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. The throw-in from Gust Ennemans in the 22nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Moneteria's Boleslaw Majdoch. Lars Meesters scored 1-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kacper Tobias, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. David Eikelkamp hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute, Eugeniusz Malewicki sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Netherlands's Arnout Reekers didn't even have to move. The supporters of Moneteria booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gust Ennemans didn't get a good kick on the ball. Moneteria made a substitution. Maciej Trynda replaced Tobiasz Gniech. In the 40th minute, Gust Ennemans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Maciej Trynda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnout Reekers was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 45 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Maciej Trynda sped through Netherlands's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arnout Reekers. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gijsbert ter Kruimer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Mathijn Doctor. With an all-out effort, Netherlands's Kacper Tobias threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kacper Tobias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 61st minute of play. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maciej Trynda, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Moneteria's Kacper Tobias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 68th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Kacper Tobias in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maciej Trynda in the 82nd minute of the match. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kazimierz Kolano, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Kacper Tobias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Despite being the better team, Netherlands failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
