Spectators: 52 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) Spain's Omar Toledo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Donald Fenwick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adria Bielsa, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 7th minute of the match Spain got a corner. Memphis Grizzlies's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Omar Toledo ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Spain's David Aranda got a free kick in the 7th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Memphis Grizzlies's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Toledo came free, but Donald Fenwick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute Spain were awarded a corner. Omar Toledo went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Memphis Grizzlies's goalie and right to David Aranda. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Memphis Grizzlies's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Vinicio Carballeira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gabriel Ascaso came out and tried to block the shot, but Vinicio Carballeira slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 13th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Vinicio Carballeira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Gabriel Ascaso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 21st minute Omar Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donald Fenwick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Ascaso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinicio Carballeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Donald Fenwick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Gabriel Ascaso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinicio Carballeira in the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adria Bielsa in the 34th minute of play forced Memphis Grizzlies's goalkeeper Donald Fenwick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 35 played minutes Spain got a freekick which was hit by David Aranda. Memphis Grizzlies's Donald Fenwick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Toledo in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Spain's Adria Bielsa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Donald Fenwick narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 45 minutes into the match, Spain's goal looked a bit too open when Vinicio Carballeira came free, but Gabriel Ascaso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Donald Fenwick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adria Bielsa in the 47th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vinicio Carballeira to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Toledo in the 53rd minute of play forced Memphis Grizzlies's goalkeeper Donald Fenwick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donald Fenwick came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Spain's Omar Toledo. But to his dismay, Omar Toledo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Omar Toledo took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Donald Fenwick to make any attempt to save it. Donald Fenwick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adria Bielsa, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Memphis Grizzlies's goal looked a bit too open when Adria Bielsa came free, but Donald Fenwick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute, Spain's Adria Bielsa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. Memphis Grizzlies's Ty Hislop was substituted for Ian Prutton. Memphis Grizzlies's Nicky Sansom was substituted for Grant Andrews. Spain's Carles Cherro was substituted for Omar Toledo. Tony Jones hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Spain's Pau Herrero was substituted for David Aranda. In the 76th match minute, Memphis Grizzlies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tony Jones to maneuver through the defense. Sergio Ruiz scored 2-4 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Donald Fenwick, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Donald Fenwick made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Carles Cherro sent off a good shot on target. In the 91st minute, Spain's Sergio Ruiz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Donald Fenwick. Donald Fenwick yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-5. Memphis Grizzlies's Donald Fenwick proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Memphis Grizzlies from getting a goal against them. Gabriel Ascaso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stuart Banks, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the final whistle sounded Spain left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Memphis Grizzlies.
