Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 3rd minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredrik Backman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 4 minutes into the game, Gijsbert ter Kruimer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Fredrik Backman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fredrik Backman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 7th minute of the match. Ermanno Puglielli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnout Reekers having to make a save. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermanno Puglielli in the 11th minute of play. Cornelio Combarros hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Wisła Kraków's Fredrik Backman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Wim Wilmes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fredrik Backman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ermanno Puglielli made a kick off. David Eikelkamp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredrik Backman having to interfere. Kees Mooiweer made in the 56th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Wisła Kraków's Cesare Schiavoni. 62 minutes into the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fredrik Backman. Wisła Kraków's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gijsbert ter Kruimer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. If Ermanno Puglielli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermanno Puglielli in the 70th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Wisła Kraków's goalkeeper Fredrik Backman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wim Wilmes. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt hit a great ball. Fredrik Backman made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. In the 82nd minute David Eikelkamp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredrik Backman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 85th minute of play forced Wisła Kraków's goalkeeper Fredrik Backman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Wisła Kraków getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Gwidon Bambas hit a great ball. In the 90th minute, Ermanno Puglielli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The throw-in from Kees Mooiweer in the 94th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Wisła Kraków's Cesare Schiavoni. The Wisła Kraków fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Netherlands were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
