Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Arnout Reekers was a little too slow when Erlin Haaland got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 4th minute. The score was now 1-0. Ferdinand Pflügge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 11th minute of the match. Ferdinand Pflügge stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Ferdinand Pflügge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 16th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Spvgg München-Lerch. 05's Erwin Jankowsky sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnout Reekers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 22nd minute of play forced Spvgg München-Lerch. 05's goalkeeper Ferdinand Pflügge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Werner Barz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. In the 24th minute, Wim Wilmes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 26th minute, David Eikelkamp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 28 minutes into the match, Spvgg München-Lerch. 05's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Ferdinand Pflügge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Spvgg München-Lerch. 05's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Ferdinand Pflügge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ferdinand Pflügge. Spvgg München-Lerch. 05's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gijsbert ter Kruimer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. The Spvgg München-Lerch. 05 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Netherlands were winning 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erlin Haaland was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute of the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ferdinand Pflügge was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 53 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Erlin Haaland came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lars Meesters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kees Mooiweer made in the 57th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Gijsbert ter Kruimer. In the 58th minute, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Spvgg München-Lerch. 05's Burkhard Seelert quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Lars Meesters, made in the 63rd minute of the game. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Spvgg München-Lerch. 05's Burkhard Seelert. But to his dismay, Burkhard Seelert quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. In the 65th minute, King Caniggia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Gustaaf Groeneveldt took a quick shot and it went in 2-5 without a chance for Ferdinand Pflügge to make any attempt to save it. In the 71st minute, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ferdinand Pflügge. Ferdinand Pflügge yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-6. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after Spvgg München-Lerch. 05's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. After taking down the ball on Netherlands's corner Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ferdinand Pflügge quite easily take care of the ball. With his leg Ferdinand Pflügge managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Netherlands's Wim Wilmes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 81st minute of the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ferdinand Pflügge saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 82 minutes Spvgg München-Lerch. 05's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. Ferdinand Pflügge didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-7 was the resulting score. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinand Pflügge having to interfere. Netherlands played a much better game than Spvgg München-Lerch. 05 and deserved their victory. The Spvgg München-Lerch. 05 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
