The audience thought a goal was coming when Zeledon Janpier got free with Edgard Weterio in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Talita AFC's Ladislao Henrico suffered a sore thigh after 82 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Baltasar Merexildo fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bengals's protests and gave Baltasar Merexildo a yellow card for diving instead. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 84th minute, when Talita AFC's Javier Ovando after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Edgard Weterio in Bengals's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. Edgard Weterio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lisandro Inguma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Bengals's Edgard Weterio got control of the ball when Zeledon Janpier tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 92 minutes, Mateo Nicholas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bengals and the Talita AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Talita AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
