Bengals were furious when Benigno Walme was red carded, 4 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 4th match minute, Bengals was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benigno Walme to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Casper Obree took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Edgard Weterio to make any attempt to save it. Francisco Manilan's late challenge caught a Flinders's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francisco Manilan helped the player get up and apologised. After 13 played minutes Bengals got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Manilan. The audience thought a goal was coming when Davey Haslem got free with Edgard Weterio in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 20th minute, Timoteo Arias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brynn Staggard was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Edgard Weterio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eavan Missen showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 25 minute of play. With splendid footwork Eavan Missen arrived in front of goal to shoot 3-1 by the left pole in the game's 30th minute. Edgard Weterio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eavan Missen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgard Weterio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmundson Goodwin went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Edgard Weterio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmundson Goodwin went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Edgard Weterio made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Edmundson Goodwin sent off a good shot on target. 46 minutes into the game, Paulino Mero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bengals's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Flinders the free kick. Paulino Mero kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. 48 minutes into the match, Bengals's goalkeeper Edgard Weterio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Davey Haslem. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Timoteo Arias was the one to do the kick off. Timoteo Arias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 54 minutes into the match, Flinders's goal looked a bit too open when Timoteo Arias came free, but Brynn Staggard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgard Weterio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casper Obree, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eavan Missen in the 61st minute of play forced Bengals's goalkeeper Edgard Weterio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 63 minutes of play, Flinders's Casper Obree made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edgard Weterio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Timoteo Arias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Brynn Staggard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edmundson Goodwin took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgard Weterio. Edgard Weterio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. 72 minutes into the match, Edmundson Goodwin notched a goal, 8-1, to the right of Bengals's Edgard Weterio. Edgard Weterio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davey Haslem in the 76th minute of play forced Bengals's goalkeeper Edgard Weterio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgard Weterio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davey Haslem in the 78th minute of play. Casper Obree fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Weterio having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Bengals's goal looked a bit too open when Casper Obree came free, but Edgard Weterio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgard Weterio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundson Goodwin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgard Weterio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundson Goodwin, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. If Timoteo Arias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 93 minutes, Jacobs Mcmanamny mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Flinders and the Bengals players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 93rd minute, Jacobs Mcmanamny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
