Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Eavan Missen made the kick off which started today's match. 7 minutes into the match, Talita AFC's Ladislao Cebrian sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Brynn Staggard narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Angel Frans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eavan Missen in the 8th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eavan Missen in the 17th minute of play forced Talita AFC's goalkeeper Angel Frans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brynn Staggard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Cebrian in the 18th minute of play. A collision led to Flinders getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Hale Heath hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute, Ladislao Cebrian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 24 minutes into the game, Jacobs Mcmanamny was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Flinders's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Talita AFC the free kick. In the 24th minute, Jacobs Mcmanamny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 28 minutes, Davey Haslem managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flinders's supporters crossed their fingers, but Davey Haslem was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eavan Missen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eavan Missen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the match, Flinders's goal looked a bit too open when Ladislao Cebrian came free, but Brynn Staggard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Casper Obree kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eavan Missen in the 42nd minute of play forced Talita AFC's goalkeeper Angel Frans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flinders's Brynn Staggard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Cebrian in the 43rd minute of play. Brynn Staggard stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ladislao Cebrian's shot from short distance in the 45th minute.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ladislao Cebrian stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Flinders's goalkeeper Brynn Staggard had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ladislao Henrico. Eavan Missen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Angel Frans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 54 minutes into the game, Davey Haslem cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Angel Frans was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lisandro Inguma hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Ladislao Henrico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brynn Staggard having to interfere. Angel Frans stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eavan Missen's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. The audience was convinced that Ladislao Cebrian's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brynn Staggard was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Edmundson Goodwin charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edmundson Goodwin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 88 played minutes Flinders got a freekick which was hit by Edmundson Goodwin. With his leg Brynn Staggard managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Talita AFC's Ladislao Henrico fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Davey Haslem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
