Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Brynn Staggard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konrad Mitus in the 4th minute of play. Dawid Gendolla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 11 minutes into the game, Dawid Gendolla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Brynn Staggard was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Dariusz Kolbert fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Midnight's protests and gave Dariusz Kolbert a yellow card for diving instead. 15 minutes into the game, Davey Haslem cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Olgierd Kalinowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Radoslaw Bielenda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the match, Midnight's goal looked a bit too open when Eavan Missen came free, but Olgierd Kalinowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Davey Haslem came free with the goalkeeper in the 25th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Olgierd Kalinowski could save by the left post. Davey Haslem had several of the Midnight's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 25 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Olgierd Kalinowski as he didn't even see the shot coming. The audience thought a goal was coming when Davey Haslem got free with Olgierd Kalinowski in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Radoslaw Bielenda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the match, Midnight's goalkeeper Olgierd Kalinowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eavan Missen.
The wind increased when Dawid Gendolla made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Pawel Oliszewski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Midnight and the Flinders players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 52nd match minute, Midnight was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pawel Oliszewski to maneuver through the defense. Eavan Missen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Davey Haslem in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olgierd Kalinowski saved Midnight from getting behind. Eavan Missen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Korneliusz Wos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brynn Staggard having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Davey Haslem in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olgierd Kalinowski saved Midnight from getting behind. Radoslaw Bielenda struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Brynn Staggard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Midnight. When Flinders's Eavan Missen in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Midnight's goalie prevented a goal. Radoslaw Bielenda struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Brynn Staggard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Midnight. Eavan Missen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olgierd Kalinowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davey Haslem in the 79th minute of play forced Midnight's goalkeeper Olgierd Kalinowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Konrad Mitus fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Midnight's protests and gave Konrad Mitus a yellow card for diving instead. Midnight made a substitution. Bartosz Biegun replaced Tolek Danisiewicz. After 84 played minutes Midnight got a freekick which was hit by Konrad Mitus. Casper Obree received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Olgierd Kalinowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Davey Haslem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Midnight booed when Flinders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hale Heath didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olgierd Kalinowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davey Haslem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Flinders fans cheered their team off the field, for while Midnight had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
