Alfredo Rius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Delgado Barbeito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th match minute, Active FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucio Buergo to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute Agustín Inda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvio Santxol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Active FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Anangonó Canta hit a great ball. After having played for 39 minutes, Leandro Amor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Defferrari AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leandro Amor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alfredo Rius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delgado Barbeito having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfredo Rius was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Centenales in the 52nd minute of play forced Defferrari AFC's goalkeeper Silvio Santxol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 56 minutes, Edelmiro Abadia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Defferrari AFC and the Active FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Silvio Santxol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Centenales in the 62nd minute of play. Silvio Santxol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Inda in the 64th minute of the match. In the 65th minute of the match Active FC got a corner. Defferrari AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lucio Buergo ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Active FC's corner Lucio Buergo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Silvio Santxol quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Active FC booed when Defferrari AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edelmiro Abadia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute Leandro Amor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delgado Barbeito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvio Santxol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Inda in the 83rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leandro Amor in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Delgado Barbeito saved Active FC from getting behind. Active FC's Delgado Barbeito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Rius in the 90th minute of play.
