Flinders's supporters rose to their feet, but Davey Haslem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hazım Akşit breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Brynn Staggard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karhan İlbilge in the 8th minute of the match. Recep Tayyip Şems charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Recep Tayyip Şems the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Sivas FK's Recep Tayyip Şems got a free kick in the 10th minute. Eavan Missen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hazım Akşit took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eavan Missen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Sivas FK's goal looked a bit too open when Eavan Missen came free, but Hazım Akşit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, Hamdi Balcı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Eavan Missen came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Flinders fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eavan Missen couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lemi Denizer during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 40th minute of the game. One of Sivas FK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Flinders:s goal. Everitt Goodward placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After 43 played minutes Flinders got a freekick which was hit by Edmundson Goodwin. The crowd rose to their feet as Sivas FK's Karhan İlbilge slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Brynn Staggard. That made the score 2-0 after 46 minutes of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

In the 54th minute, Ahmet Refik Uman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sivas FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Casper Obree's late challenge caught a Sivas FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Casper Obree helped the player get up and apologised. Sivas FK's Hazım Akşit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eavan Missen in the 63rd minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, one of Sivas FK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Hazım Akşit had in the 69thth minute some difficulties stopping Everitt Goodward's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 69 minutes into the game, Flinders's Everitt Goodward nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hazım Akşit made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Flinders's Brynn Staggard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bektaş Veli Ufki in the 71st minute of play. After having played for 73 minutes, Eavan Missen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flinders's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eavan Missen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 75th minute Bektaş Veli Ufki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brynn Staggard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Sivas FK getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Semavi Sarduç hit a great ball. In the 78th minute Eavan Missen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hazım Akşit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Sivas FK booed when Flinders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everitt Goodward didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bektaş Veli Ufki ran back to his position shaking his head. For all the effort they put into the match, the Flinders players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sivas FK.
