Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SuRpRiSe. Juliusz Ranowiecki's late challenge caught a Germany's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juliusz Ranowiecki helped the player get up and apologised. Zbyszek Gondela succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 7th playminute. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Zbyszek Gondela stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Zbyszek Gondela tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zbyszek Gondela in the 11th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Zbyszek Gondela kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, SuRpRiSe's Dawid Siwy got a free kick in the 15th minute. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zbyszek Gondela in the 18th minute of the match. If Zbyszek Gondela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 25th minute Zbyszek Gondela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zbyszek Gondela was extremely unlucky when he, in the 28th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbyszek Gondela in the 30th minute of play. After 33 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Willy Stieler. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zbyszek Gondela, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Zbyszek Gondela's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Zbyszek Gondela kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zbyszek Gondela to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zbyszek Gondela in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 53 minutes of play, SuRpRiSe's Zbyszek Gondela made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 57 minutes, Adrian Dreifuss mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Germany and the SuRpRiSe players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 57 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Dreifuss. The audience was convinced that Zbyszek Gondela's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. SuRpRiSe's attentive Feliks Marchefka managed to snatch the ball when Willy Stieler made a throw-in in the 64th minute of the game. In the 65th minute, Zbyszek Gondela made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. In the 75th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albin Holweck to maneuver through the defense. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Pawelczyk in the 77th minute of play. In the 79th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mieszko Olchowy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred Pawelczyk in the 83rd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Alfred Pawelczyk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfred Pawelczyk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juliusz Ranowiecki in the 92nd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willy Stieler to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SuRpRiSe fans cheered their team off the field, for while Germany had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
