Arnout Reekers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Wim Wilmes came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wim Wilmes couldn't finish the play. Swift GTi FDC's 程浩卫 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 30th minute of play. In the 35th minute Xie Chuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 程浩卫 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Kees Mooiweer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Xie Chuan made the kick off in the second half. 程浩卫 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 程浩卫 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 55th minute of play. In the 63rd match minute, Swift GTi FDC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias Hanni to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 65th minute of the game. One of Swift GTi FDC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Netherlands:s goal. In the 67th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. Swift GTi FDC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Bas Tuitert hit a great ball. Wim Wilmes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but 程浩卫 made a huge save. 程浩卫 was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wim Wilmes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 72 minute of play. In the 81st match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kees Mooiweer to maneuver through the defense. Wim Wilmes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but 程浩卫 made a huge save. With an all-out effort, Netherlands's 程浩卫 threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lars Meesters, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 91 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Xie Chuan came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 93 played minutes Swift GTi FDC got a freekick which was hit by Xie Chuan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 96th minute of play forced Swift GTi FDC's goalkeeper 程浩卫 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeremias Hanni charged in rather forcefully in the 98th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jeremias Hanni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Netherlands's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
