Mónico Bacquet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 5 minutes into the match, Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo Renato Gaspar. Șerban Culiță charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Șerban Culiță the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Capitala getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Șerban Culiță hit a great ball. After 8 minutes of play, Hungary's Major Barna made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lütfi Soner was left in no man's land by his defense there! 12 minutes into the match, Capitala's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Lütfi Soner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Capitala's Zorko Doro in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hungary's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Capitala's zone, Antal Valentin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lütfi Soner came out of the goal and Antal Valentin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zorko Doro in the 18th minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Capitala's Zorko Doro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fodor Daniel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. With a little luck, Hungary's Fodor Daniel got control of the ball when Paulo Renato Gaspar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paulo Renato Gaspar's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fodor Daniel firmly grabbed it by the left post. Major Barna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Hungary fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Hungary's Major Barna looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Paulo Renato Gaspar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lütfi Soner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 42nd minute of the match. Fodor Daniel was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Pompiliu Isăcescu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pompiliu Isăcescu really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Zorko Doro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zorko Doro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lütfi Soner was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hegedus Henrik showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 57 minute of play. Lütfi Soner made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Antal Valentin sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Renato Gaspar in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. In the 71st minute of the match, Antal Valentin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lütfi Soner was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Lütfi Soner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hegedus Henrik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lütfi Soner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Major Barna in the 80th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Capitala's goalkeeper Lütfi Soner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Major Barna. The crowd rose to their feet as Antal Valentin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lütfi Soner. That made the score 2-4 in the 92 minute of play. Takacs Tibor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lütfi Soner having to make a save.
