If Paulo Renato Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Sachs in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lütfi Soner saved Capitala from getting behind. In the 12thth minute of the game Frank Sachs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Capitala's Lütfi Soner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 13 minutes Capitala's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Frank Sachs who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Frank Sachs almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Capitala's Lütfi Soner did a great save. Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lütfi Soner read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. After 19 minutes, Paulo Renato Gaspar made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Germany's Tommy Kahn tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 22nd minute of the match Capitala got a corner. Germany's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pompiliu Isăcescu ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Eric Da Silva managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 27 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo Renato Gaspar. 28 minutes into the match, Zorko Doro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tommy Kahn, 3-1. Paulo Renato Gaspar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Tommy Kahn skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Lütfi Soner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albin Holweck, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Germany were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after Capitala's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Frank Sachs took the corner. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After a defensive mix-up in Capitala's zone, Frank Sachs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lütfi Soner came out of the goal and Frank Sachs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Albin Holweck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lütfi Soner having to interfere. In the 61st match minute, Capitala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamdi Olcaytug to maneuver through the defense. Albin Holweck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Germany's Albin Holweck got a free kick in the 64th minute. Frank Sachss short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Lütfi Soner to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Renato Gaspar in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Capitala's Paulo Renato Gaspar. But to his dismay, Paulo Renato Gaspar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. After having played for 82 minutes, Zorko Doro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Capitala's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zorko Doro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Germany's Janik Vogt got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 88th minute, Zorko Doro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. The supporters of Germany booed when Capitala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamdi Olcaytug didn't get a good kick on the ball. Capitala's Lütfi Soner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Holweck in the 93rd minute of play. Lütfi Soner came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Germany's Albin Holweck. But to his dismay, Albin Holweck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-2. 96 minutes into the game, Willy Stieler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Germany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Capitala the free kick. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Willy Stieler hit a great ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Capitala had played much better football throughout.
