Grzegorz Szamotulski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 5th minute Takacs Tibor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grzegorz Szamotulski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after Krivé hnáty's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. The corner led Hungary's Balazs Lajos to fire away a dangerous shot which Grzegorz Szamotulski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Balazs Lajos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Grzegorz Szamotulski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grzegorz Szamotulski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. 17 minutes into the match, Krivé hnáty's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Grzegorz Szamotulski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ádám Erdei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Antal Valentin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Grzegorz Szamotulski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 27th minute of play forced Krivé hnáty's goalkeeper Grzegorz Szamotulski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antal Valentin in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Grzegorz Szamotulski saved Krivé hnáty from getting behind. The supporters of Hungary booed when Krivé hnáty was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubens Seco didn't get a good kick on the ball. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Krivé hnáty's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. Antal Valentin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gürol Yengi hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Ádám Erdei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manilan Monterrey to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Hungary defense, Gürol Yengi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. The Hungary fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fodor Daniel should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Hungary booed when Krivé hnáty was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubens Seco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Grzegorz Szamotulski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Grzegorz Szamotulski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 59th minute. The corner ended in Antal Valentin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Krivé hnáty's Grzegorz Szamotulski did a great save. 62 minutes into the match, Krivé hnáty's goalkeeper Grzegorz Szamotulski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Valentin. Balazs Lajos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65thth minute of the game Manilan Monterrey who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 69 played minutes Krivé hnáty got a freekick which was hit by Silvan Zeiher. 70 minutes into the match, Krivé hnáty's goalkeeper Grzegorz Szamotulski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Valentin. In the 79th minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Hungary's Takacs Tibor getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Grzegorz Szamotulski made a huge save. After 84 minutes Krivé hnáty's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. After 86 minutes, Manilan Monterrey made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Hungary's Fodor Daniel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Grzegorz Szamotulski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 94 minutes, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antal Valentin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manilan Monterrey in the 96th minute of the match. The Krivé hnáty players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
