Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Carlisle Fenwick kicked off to start the match. Vavrinec Holub made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arty Shearn in the 4th minute. In the 7th minute Andres Stevens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vavrinec Holub saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Boroondara Milan fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Boroondara Milan's Paco Everett looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Carlisle Fenwick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vavrinec Holub having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Valdemar Turecek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Boroondara Milan's Ned Mills got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Czech Republic from getting a goal against them. If Carlisle Fenwick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vavrinec Holub didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlisle Fenwick went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Carlisle Fenwick succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 36th playminute. Boroondara Milan's Drake Sobczak got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 41 minutes into the game, Boroondara Milan's Carlisle Fenwick nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vavrinec Holub made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Vavrinec Holub showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlisle Fenwick in the 44th minute of the match. Denis Dostal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erik Jilek to make the kick off. Carlisle Fenwick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vavrinec Holub having to interfere. Carlisle Fenwick might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vavrinec Holub. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlisle Fenwick ran back to his position shaking his head. If Carlisle Fenwick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Carlisle Fenwick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Czech Republic getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Dalimil Charvat hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dalimil Charvat during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Czech Republic's zone, Andres Stevens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vavrinec Holub came out of the goal and Andres Stevens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 70th minute Carlisle Fenwick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vavrinec Holub saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Carlisle Fenwick notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub. Vavrinec Holub was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 77 played minutes, Boroondara Milan's Andres Stevens shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Boroondara Milan reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rusty Reynolds in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vavrinec Holub prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 80 minutes into the game, Boroondara Milan's Carlisle Fenwick nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vavrinec Holub made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. In the 88th minute of the match Boroondara Milan got a corner. Czech Republic's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ned Mills ran over to the corner to take the kick. Alan Rezek charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alan Rezek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Czech Republic's Alan Rezek got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 89th minute Ned Mills shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vavrinec Holub saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vavrinec Holub took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlisle Fenwick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Czech Republic defense, Rusty Reynolds kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vavrinec Holub. The Czech Republic fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vavrinec Holub should have stopped the shot.
