Drafi's Manolis Ntouvaris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manolis Ntouvaris was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Lionel-Andrés Messis short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Casper Claes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 33 minutes into the match, Edward Vanderstraeten had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manolis Ntouvaris. Drafi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edward Vanderstraeten was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Yves Dervaux sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Casper Claes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lionel-Andrés Messi in the 45th minute. Siebe Michiels hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Laurens Vandamme kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Drafi made a substitution. Nektarios Bezas replaced Lambis Vrinios. A collision led to Belgium getting a freekick after 49 minutes play. Laurens Vandamme hit a great ball. Takis Chatzigiannis came free in the 50th minute and tried to tip the ball over Casper Claes, but to the joy of Belgium's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. In the 51st minute, Drafi's Soulis Felegakis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edward Vanderstraeten stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lionel-Andrés Messi, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute of the match Drafi got a corner. Belgium's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lionel-Andrés Messi ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Drafi's Nektarios Bezas getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Edward Vanderstraeten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Manolis Ntouvaris made a huge save. Drafi's Kleon Sgouros was substituted for Carlos Fernando Abraão. In the 91st minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manolis Ntouvaris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lionel-Andrés Messi in the 93rd minute of play. With a little luck, Drafi's Manolis Ntouvaris got control of the ball when Edward Vanderstraeten tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Belgium players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
