A collision led to Switzerland getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Jacinto Maurer hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Desiderio Enmanuel in the 37th minute of play forced Switzerland's goalkeeper Hias Nüssli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Mercedario AFC made a substitution. Saul Lon replaced Luisito Criston. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Samuele Kunz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Switzerland's Jacinto Maurer got a free kick in the 91st minute. Switzerland played a much better game than Mercedario AFC and deserved their victory. The Mercedario AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
