Uwe Reimann took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vavrinec Holub. Czech Republic's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Fernando Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vavrinec Holub having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 8th minute by Marcinho de Toledo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 10th minute, Marcinho de Toledo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The OLIMPIA SP fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 16 minutes into the game, Ademir Donatello recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vavrinec Holub. Ademir Donatello showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Czech Republic from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcinho de Toledo got free with Vavrinec Holub in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub got control of the ball when Ademir Donatello tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Fernando Gomes made a precise shot to the right of Vavrinec Holub. Czech Republic's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Denis Dostal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Inge Marin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Gomes in the 41st minute of play forced Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vavrinec Holub showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Gomes in the 42nd minute of the match. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erik Jilek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uwe Reimann in the 51st minute of play forced Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by Czech Republic's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Uwe Reimann was slow to take the kick. During this time OLIMPIA SP's players had a chance to rest. Vavrinec Holub made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uwe Reimann in the 53rd minute of play. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Marcinho de Toledo sped through Czech Republic's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vavrinec Holub. In the 58th match minute, Czech Republic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bohumir Kohout to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute, Fernando Gomes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The OLIMPIA SP fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Vavrinec Holub made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Gomes in the 65th minute of play. After having played for 66 minutes, Marcinho de Toledo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. OLIMPIA SP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcinho de Toledo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 67th minute, Uwe Reimann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Marcinho de Toledo sped through Czech Republic's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vavrinec Holub. Marcinho de Toledo took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vavrinec Holub. Vavrinec Holub dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Vavrinec Holub made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcinho de Toledo in the 79th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Czech Republic's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Gomes came free, but Vavrinec Holub reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vavrinec Holub didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcinho de Toledo went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. 88 minutes into the match, Samuca Travassos notched a goal, 10-0, to the right of Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub. Vavrinec Holub was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that OLIMPIA SP were the better team. OLIMPIA SP's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
