Mateus de Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diogo Martins in the 17th minute of play. With a little luck, Spartan FC Mogilany's Iwo Domarecki got control of the ball when Fábio Bezerra tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

59 minutes into the match, Konstanty Smolarek dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mateus de Almeida, 0-8. 67 minutes into the game, Przemyslaw Bronder recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mateus de Almeida. Przemyslaw Bronder showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-10. The Spartan FC Mogilany fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Spartan FC Mogilany's Ilie Dumitrescu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-11 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Serginho Varela charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
