An unexpectedly hard shot by Berker Demirbaş in the 13th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Berker Demirbaş came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emre Güneş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Berker Demirbaş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute, Berker Demirbaş made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Tommy Kahn acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 34th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Emre Güneş. In the 37th match minute, spartak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berker Demirbaş to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute, spartak's Berker Demirbaş ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. The supporters of spartak booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven Krakouer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emre Güneş, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Frank Sachs made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind spartak's goalkeeper Caner Yaltıray, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Caner Yaltıray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albin Holweck in the 54th minute of the match. Frank Sachs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Caner Yaltıray having to make a save. spartak's Caner Yaltıray proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save spartak from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Frank Sachs kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Caner Yaltıray. That made the score 2-1 in the 58 minute of play. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by spartak's Raido Tuus. But to his dismay, Raido Tuus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Frank Sachs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Caner Yaltıray made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Germany's Janik Vogt got a free kick in the 67th minute. Emre Güneş took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tommy Kahn. Germany's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Caner Yaltıray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albin Holweck, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. When Berker Demirbaş came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the spartak fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Berker Demirbaş couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Raido Tuus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Güner Kayan during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 76th match minute, spartak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Güner Kayan to maneuver through the defense. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Emre Güneş kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. spartak fully deserved thier win.
