An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 6th minute of play forced MONTANHA's goalkeeper Jens Mikaelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Edward Vanderstraeten had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jens Mikaelsson. MONTANHA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edward Vanderstraeten was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Wei Guang Xing came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the MONTANHA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wei Guang Xing couldn't finish the play. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wei Guang Xing in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Wei Guang Xing left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MONTANHA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 26 minutes MONTANHA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edward Vanderstraeten who took care of the corner kick. Belgium's Sander Dermaut was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jens Mikaelsson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind MONTANHA's goalkeeper Jens Mikaelsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Belgium's Casper Claes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Belgium from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Czeslaw Walec in the 37th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, MONTANHA's Murillo Martins got a free kick in the 38th minute. Nigel Devos kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

After 51 played minutes MONTANHA got a freekick which was hit by Czeslaw Walec. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wei Guang Xing in the 56th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radomir Narbut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MONTANHA's Jens Mikaelsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save MONTANHA from getting a goal against them. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jens Mikaelsson firmly grabbed it by the left post. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wei Guang Xing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Casper Claes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Czeslaw Walec went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wei Guang Xing in the 72nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Jens Mikaelsson in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 74th minute, Yves Dervaux hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wei Guang Xing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to MONTANHA getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Gonçalo Matos hit a great ball. After having played for 93 minutes, Edward Vanderstraeten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belgium's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edward Vanderstraeten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jens Mikaelsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 96th minute of play. Belgium's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
