Edward Vanderstraeten might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hans-Joachim Amerhauser. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Vanderstraeten ran back to his position shaking his head. With his leg Casper Claes managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Forza Heppenbach's Karl-Michael Almqvist fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl-Michael Almqvist got free with Casper Claes in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Brent Desmet made a great header on Forza Heppenbach's corner, it was just that Belgium's Casper Claes managed to reach the ball for a save. Hans-Joachim Amerhauser showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Edward Vanderstraeten scored 1-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hans-Joachim Amerhauser, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sander Tielemans's late challenge caught a Belgium's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sander Tielemans helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Forza Heppenbach getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Sander Tielemans hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Karl-Michael Almqvist to strike the kick off in the second half. Forza Heppenbach's Hans-Joachim Amerhauser proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Forza Heppenbach from getting a goal against them. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Kellbom in the 59th minute of the match. If Edward Vanderstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Belgium getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Lenny Clocheret hit a great ball. When Karl-Michael Almqvist came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Forza Heppenbach fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl-Michael Almqvist couldn't finish the play. Hans-Joachim Amerhauser made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a good shot on target. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Kellbom in the 79th minute of play. Guillaume Bonte was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 80 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 80th minute of the game. One of Belgium:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Forza Heppenbach:s goal. In the 90th minute Christian Kellbom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
