Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. The Newpi Academy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Wulf Köllner hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vlado Delchev showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gavino Lauren hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tonete in the 17th minute. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wim Wilmes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vlado Delchev in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Perrando in the 40th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Newpi Academy's Arnout Reekers threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eulalio Otsando, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wim Wilmes got free with Vlado Delchev in the 50th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after Newpi Academy's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. Salvador Ermengol thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Vlado Delchev, a very annoying self made goal in the 52nd minute which led to 1-1. Newpi Academy's Vlado Delchev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Newpi Academy from getting a goal against them. Salvador Ermengol lost his temper 60 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After a rather tough play, Newpi Academy's Salvador Ermengol got a free kick in the 60th minute. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arnout Reekers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eulalio Otsando's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. After 66 minutes of play, Newpi Academy's Nereo Jakes made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnout Reekers was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vlado Delchev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 71st minute. Gustaaf Groeneveldt got in the 71st a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Vlado Delchev handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. The Netherlands fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 79 minutes of play, Newpi Academy's Eulalio Otsando made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnout Reekers was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gijsbert ter Kruimer might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vlado Delchev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran back to his position shaking his head. 84 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Lars Meesters nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vlado Delchev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. After a rather tough play, Newpi Academy's Nereo Jakes got a free kick in the 90th minute. Cornelio Guerrero kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Egbert Nijveldt got a free kick in the 95th minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
