Artemio Odol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnout Reekers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. In the 7th minute, Lars Meesters hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristobal Kelemen kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Sacando del Medio's Santo James managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gust Ennemans in the 11 minute of the game. Sacando del Medio's Artemio Odol got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 17 minutes into the match, Sacando del Medio's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Bernardo Loren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Sacando del Medio's Artemio Odol in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Sacando del Medio's Bernardo Loren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bas Tuitert in the 31st minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Artemio Odol. Bernardo Loren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute Egbert Nijveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Loren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Sacando del Medio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santo James didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After 55th play minutes Egbert Nijveldt shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Bernardo Loren and just under the crossbar into goal. Bernardo Loren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 57th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Sacando del Medio's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Bernardo Loren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardo Loren made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Wim Wilmes sent off a good shot on target. Bernardo Loren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Eikelkamp in the 63rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Netherlands defense, Artemio Odol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnout Reekers. The Netherlands fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnout Reekers should have stopped the shot. Bernardo Loren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Meesters in the 90th minute of play. Cristobal Kelemen hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The Sacando del Medio fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Netherlands were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
