Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Horácio Garcia got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's zone, Viriato Moura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Podgoreanu came out of the goal and Viriato Moura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 14 minutes into the game, Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Horácio Garcia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilson Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. A collision led to Acercate Y Patea de Lejos getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Joel Haimar hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the match, Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's goal looked a bit too open when Graciano Coutinho came free, but Emanuel Podgoreanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Emanuel Podgoreanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Barreto in the 27th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Felipe Barreto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Portugal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. With an all-out effort, Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Wilson Amorim threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Horácio Garcia, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 32 minutes into the match, Viriato Moura notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Emanuel Podgoreanu. Emanuel Podgoreanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 37 minutes into the game, Felipe Barreto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Emanuel Podgoreanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 40 minutes into the match, Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Moura came free, but Emanuel Podgoreanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, Horácio Garcia recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wilson Amorim. Horácio Garcia showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-3. In the 47th minute, Horácio Garcia reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Wilson Amorim. The goal made the score 4-3.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Horácio Garcia in the 53rd minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 53 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Faustino Almeida. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horácio Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gustavo Tartalo in the 56th minute. The corner led to Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Gaston Ávila getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos made a substitution. Eliseo Abechuco replaced Horácio Garcia. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Natalio Guter was substituted for Yves Ayral. Graciano Coutinho hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. In the 68th minute, Graciano Coutinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natalio Guter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 72 minutes, Joaquin Rufio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquin Rufio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emanuel Podgoreanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Pimentel's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute of the match Portugal got a corner. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Pimentel ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Portugal's corner Daniel Pimentel fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Emanuel Podgoreanu quite easily take care of the ball. The attack was good, but when Graciano Coutinho in the 77th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. When Rosendo Gervaso came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Acercate Y Patea de Lejos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rosendo Gervaso couldn't finish the play. Natalio Guter might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilson Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Natalio Guter ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Portugal defense, Rosendo Gervaso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. The Portugal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Amorim should have stopped the shot. Gustavo Tartalo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rosendo Gervaso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91stth minute of the game Rosendo Gervaso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Portugal's Wilson Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rosendo Gervaso succeeded in the game's 94th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 7-3. Wilson Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rosendo Gervaso's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. When Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Rosendo Gervaso in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Portugal's goalie prevented a goal. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
