Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Liu Yong Yong having to interfere. A collision led to OROTINENSE getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Reinaldo Medina hit a great ball. After having played for 19 minutes, Jacek Walczak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. OROTINENSE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacek Walczak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 21 minutes into the match, Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Songurhan Mete. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacek Walczak in the 23rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Major Barna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Liu Yong Yong breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Balazs Lajos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 33rd minute of play forced OROTINENSE's goalkeeper Liu Yong Yong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, OROTINENSE's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Liu Yong Yong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Major Barna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antal Valentin struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Liu Yong Yong didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. After taking down the ball on OROTINENSE's corner David Talamanca fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fodor Daniel quite easily take care of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Songurhan Mete was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Liu Yong Yong in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Liu Yong Yong was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Antal Valentin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 52 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Takacs Tibor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Takacs Tibor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Liu Yong Yong breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Omar Carvajal kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Hungary's Antal Valentin tried to score from far away in the 62nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Liu Yong Yong in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in OROTINENSE's zone, Major Barna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Liu Yong Yong came out of the goal and Major Barna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Antal Valentin got a free kick in the 73rd minute. OROTINENSE's Zhu Bin Le was substituted for Leonel Cisneros. OROTINENSE made a substitution. Minor Talamanca replaced Ruhi Uluöz. The supporters of OROTINENSE booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antal Valentin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind OROTINENSE's goalkeeper Liu Yong Yong, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Liu Yong Yong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Boros Benedek's late challenge caught a OROTINENSE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Boros Benedek helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of OROTINENSE booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boros Benedek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antal Valentin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Liu Yong Yong came out and tried to block the shot, but Antal Valentin slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 83rd minute. When Major Barna came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Major Barna couldn't finish the play. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iordache Opincaru in the 92nd minute of the match. Parvan Hadzhipetkov hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. When the match was over Hungary could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than OROTINENSE throughout the match.
