The audience thought a goal was coming when Korkut Urza got free with Wilson Amorim in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Korkut Urza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Portugal's Wilson Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Portugal from getting a goal against them. In the 19th minute, Caetano Moreira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Portugal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. A sloppy throw-in by Nigel Cold in the 23rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Portugal's Daniel Pimentel. 25 minutes into the match, KPO BIZARRO's goal looked a bit too open when Caetano Moreira came free, but Candido Mercurio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the KPO BIZARRO defense, Viriato Moura kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Candido Mercurio. The KPO BIZARRO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Candido Mercurio should have stopped the shot. Wilson Amorim made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Korkut Urza sent off a good shot on target. Korkut Urza struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Wilson Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KPO BIZARRO. Faustino Almeida hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Candido Mercurio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Pimentel, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute, KPO BIZARRO's Korkut Urza dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. 37 minutes into the match, KPO BIZARRO's Korkut Urza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilson Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Korkut Urza took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Wilson Amorim to make any attempt to save it. Portugal's Wilson Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Portugal from getting a goal against them. Rodolfo Miranda hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Qiao Feng Ling in the 95th minute of play. In the 96th minute Eloy Ospin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The KPO BIZARRO fans cheered their team off the field, for while Portugal had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
