When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Haroldo Lorien put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fodor Daniel. Haroldo Lorien's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fodor Daniel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. The corner ended in Antal Valentin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Alvarado de Mar del Plata's Iker Mincho did a great save. Iker Mincho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 23rd minute of play. After having played for 26 minutes, Haroldo Lorien managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alvarado de Mar del Plata's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haroldo Lorien was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 4-2 when Haroldo Lorien sped through Hungary's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. Hungary's Antal Valentin got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Many of Hungary's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Hungary may have spent more time on the ball, but Alvarado de Mar del Plata were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
