Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Visen Allu in the 14th minute of play. At last the ball reached Sergiu Zgrăbunţa at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Netherlands. 1-0. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. David Eikelkamp hit a great ball. Candido Piedra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Meesters in the 27th minute of play. Visen Allu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arnout Reekers came out and tried to block the shot, but Visen Allu slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 36th minute. In the 40th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Piedra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Sem Barang managed to get in a good position for a shot. Altermundi FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sem Barang was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnout Reekers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Altermundi FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Gijsbert ter Kruimer scored to the left of an out of position Candido Piedra, making the score, 2-1. Altermundi FC's Diego Renard was substituted for Sem Barang. After 85 minutes Altermundi FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. In the 86thth minute of the game Wim Wilmes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Altermundi FC's Candido Piedra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Visen Allu in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnout Reekers saved Netherlands from getting behind. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Altermundi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seran Torrijo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Many of Netherlands's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Netherlands may have spent more time on the ball, but Altermundi FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
