In the 7th minute of the game Angelo Beila made a throw-in which Angelo Beila played forward. Gavino Rami might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ezequiel Centurión. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gavino Rami ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 9th minute Gavino Rami shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ezequiel Centurión saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Gavino Rami had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ezequiel Centurión. Divorciados FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gavino Rami was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 14th minute, Gavino Rami hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the match, Divorciados FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gavino Rami came free, but Ezequiel Centurión reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jimeno Nevada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabricio Otsoa in the 17th minute of the match. A collision led to Club Atlético Magallanes getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Aquiles Joey hit a great ball. Jimeno Nevada made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Fabricio Otsoa sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, Divorciados FC's Jimeno Nevada threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Beat Kellenberger, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, Club Atlético Magallanes's Jimeno Nevada got control of the ball when Fabricio Otsoa tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 24th match minute, Club Atlético Magallanes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gavino Rami to maneuver through the defense. Benedykt Poling could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Jimeno Nevada made a huge save. Gavino Rami's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ezequiel Centurión read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Club Atlético Magallanes's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Samuel Pereira in the 33rd minute. The corner led Club Atlético Magallanes's Samuel Pereira to fire away a dangerous shot which Ezequiel Centurión despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Gavino Rami received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Ezequiel Centurión tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Divorciados FC's Fabricio Otsoa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. In the 40th minute Fabricio Otsoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimeno Nevada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, one of Divorciados FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Divorciados FC. Ezequiel Centurión went to the wrong direction when Silviano Huilcaman was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Fabricio Otsoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Jimeno Nevada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabricio Otsoa was the one to do the kick off. Ezequiel Centurión showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silviano Huilcaman in the 54th minute of the match. Silviano Huilcaman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ezequiel Centurión having to make a save. Club Atlético Magallanes's Wilfredo Jakes was substituted for Tadeo Precioso. Jimeno Nevada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedykt Poling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 61 minutes Club Atlético Magallanes's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Benedykt Poling who took care of the corner kick. Arturo Vergaray made a great header on Divorciados FC's corner, it was just that Club Atlético Magallanes's Jimeno Nevada managed to reach the ball for a save. Przemyslaw Niedziela hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Fabricio Otsoa sped through Club Atlético Magallanes's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jimeno Nevada. Club Atlético Magallanes's Taci Argün was substituted for Gavino Rami. Jimeno Nevada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabricio Otsoa in the 71st minute of the match. A collision led to Divorciados FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Rodolfo Manuelo hit a great ball. Jimeno Nevada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedykt Poling in the 77th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabricio Otsoa in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jimeno Nevada prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Divorciados FC's Angelo Beila got a free kick in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabricio Otsoa in the 85th minute of play forced Club Atlético Magallanes's goalkeeper Jimeno Nevada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Taci Argün might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ezequiel Centurión. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
