Ed Soares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Umberto Cunha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Pégasus F. C.'s Umberto Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Biagio Malinconico in the 14th minute of play. Dwight Schrutes short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Arnoldo Leicea to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Lorenzo Leiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 30th minute Charlie Harper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Umberto Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, The Hell's goalkeeper Arnoldo Leicea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo José Barral. C.'s Dwight Schrute dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Flavio Morros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Umberto Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Biagio Malinconico in the 52nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Lu Xing Song's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnoldo Leicea was relentless in the 57th minute of the game.
