When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Flavio Fernandes took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Esteve Calisto to make any attempt to save it. In the 33rd match minute, Westie FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Pedroso to maneuver through the defense. Flavio Fernandes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Westie FC's Esteve Calisto got control of the ball when Flavio Fernandes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Flavio Fernandes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Esteve Calisto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th minute Flavio Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteve Calisto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Westie FC's Esteve Calisto got control of the ball when Flavio Fernandes tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Vamo A Calmarno's Justino Rainerio was substituted for Flavio Fernandes. 70 minutes into the match, Justino Rainerio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Esteve Calisto. Westie FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Justino Rainerio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. The Westie FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Esteve Calisto should have stopped the shot.
