Xande Sharkin ran over to the corner to take the kick. 10 minutes into the game, Pégasus F. C.'s Dwight Schrute nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sidnei de Souza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Caarapo SS's Sidnei de Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lu Xing Song in the 16th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Dwight Schrute put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Sidnei de Souza. Umberto Cunha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastião de Lima in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lu Xing Song in the 23rd minute of play forced Caarapo SS's goalkeeper Sidnei de Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute Pégasus F. C. were awarded a corner. Xande Sharkin went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Pégasus F. C.'s Rein Rajur to fire away a dangerous shot which Sidnei de Souza despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 26thth minute of the game Lu Xing Song who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caarapo SS's Sidnei de Souza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sidnei de Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dwight Schrute, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Umberto Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastião de Lima in the 30th minute of play. Lu Xing Song scored 0-5 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sidnei de Souza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Lu Xing Song put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Sidnei de Souza. Sidnei de Souza came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Pégasus F. C.'s Dwight Schrute. But to his dismay, Dwight Schrute quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. In the 40th match minute, Pégasus F. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rein Rajur to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute of the match Caarapo SS got a corner. Pégasus F. C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jonathan Mendes ran over to the corner to take the kick. Téo Aparecido fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Umberto Cunha having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Sebastião de Lima made a precise shot to the right of Umberto Cunha. Pégasus F. C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-7. The Caarapo SS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pégasus F. C. were winning 1-7.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dwight Schrute to make the kick off. Lu Xing Songs short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Sidnei de Souza to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lu Xing Song in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sidnei de Souza saved Caarapo SS from getting behind. 61 minutes into the match, Dwight Schrute dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sidnei de Souza, 1-9. When Sebastião de Lima came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Caarapo SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastião de Lima couldn't finish the play. When Pégasus F. C.'s Qiao Ang Le in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Caarapo SS's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Caarapo SS's Sidnei de Souza got control of the ball when Qiao Ang Le tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Qiao Ang Le took a quick shot and it went in 1-10 without a chance for Sidnei de Souza to make any attempt to save it. Lu Xing Song received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Sidnei de Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
