When Esteve Brion fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Amaducci's protests and gave Esteve Brion a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Amaducci getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Esteve Brion hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Taci Argün's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emilio Selmo was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Silviano Huilcaman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Emilio Selmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emilio Selmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavino Rami, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Emilio Selmo came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Magallanes's Silviano Huilcaman. But to his dismay, Silviano Huilcaman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Emilio Selmo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gavino Rami in the 19th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Pereira in the 24th minute of play forced Amaducci's goalkeeper Emilio Selmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hilaire Kaplan was extremely unlucky when he, in the 26th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Jimeno Nevada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelino Romo in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Amaducci's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Pereira came free, but Emilio Selmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Club Atlético Magallanes's Gavino Rami nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emilio Selmo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 43rd minute, Gavino Rami hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Club Atlético Magallanes booed when Amaducci was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilaire Kaplan didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taci Argün in the 46th minute of play forced Amaducci's goalkeeper Emilio Selmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Taci Argün stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silviano Huilcaman got free with Emilio Selmo in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vinicio Bernabel charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vinicio Bernabel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 53 played minutes Amaducci got a freekick which was hit by Vinicio Bernabel. 55 minutes into the match, Amaducci's goal looked a bit too open when Taci Argün came free, but Emilio Selmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Silviano Huilcaman dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Emilio Selmo, 0-3. In the 59th minute, Club Atlético Magallanes's Gavino Rami dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Club Atlético Magallanes made a substitution. Ahmet Demirci replaced Samuel Pereira. Silviano Huilcaman might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emilio Selmo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silviano Huilcaman ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silviano Huilcaman got free with Emilio Selmo in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 94 minutes of play, Club Atlético Magallanes's Silviano Huilcaman made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emilio Selmo was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match was over Club Atlético Magallanes could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Amaducci throughout the match.
