When Leopoldo Baraquiel came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Rosario Central fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leopoldo Baraquiel couldn't finish the play. Chico Pinho came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Rosario Central's Leopoldo Baraquiel. But to his dismay, Leopoldo Baraquiel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After having played for 23 minutes, Toto Mansilla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rosario Central's supporters crossed their fingers, but Toto Mansilla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chico Pinho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Toto Mansilla's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. It was a well-played corner which Vilmantas Girdauskas managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 36thth minute of the game Leopoldo Baraquiel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Moura's Chico Pinho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With an all-out effort, Moura's Fermin Cambiasso threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jerônimo Queirós, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Chico Pinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Baraquiel in the 39th minute of the match. Chico Pinho came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Rosario Central's Leopoldo Baraquiel. But to his dismay, Leopoldo Baraquiel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Vilmantas Girdauskas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 45 played minutes Rosario Central got a freekick which was hit by Toto Mansilla. 47 minutes into the game, Leopoldo Baraquiel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rosario Central's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Moura the free kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jerônimo Queirós to strike the kick off in the second half. If Toto Mansilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lino Peres kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute, Fulvio Maria sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Moura's Chico Pinho didn't even have to move. Chico Pinho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leopoldo Baraquiel in the 61st minute. Mané Quirino hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Moura's Chico Pinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toto Mansilla in the 64th minute of play. Chico Pinho made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Leopoldo Baraquiel sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 69 minutes, Chico Pinho successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Rosario Central's Toto Mansilla in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Moura's goalie prevented a goal. After 72 played minutes Moura got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Lopes. Leopoldo Baraquiel in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Chico Pinho, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Chico Pinho was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Leopoldo Baraquiel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 78 minute of play. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Leopoldo Baraquiel sped through Moura's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Chico Pinho. 85 minutes into the match, Moura's Mané Quirino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fermin Cambiasso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 85 minutes into the game, Mané Quirino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Fermin Cambiasso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 91st minute Augusto Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fermin Cambiasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rosario Central's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
