Milan's Saturnino Bordat was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Esteve Calisto in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Özcan Sırat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dimitris Moularas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Victorino Claus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Westie FC booed when Milan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fermin Santio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fermin Santio got his second yellow card in the match during the 12th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Özcan Sırat took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victorino Claus. Victorino Claus dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, Westie FC's Özcan Sırat got a free kick in the 18th minute. Victorino Claus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Özcan Sırat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Özcan Sırat in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victorino Claus saved Milan from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Özcan Sırat put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Victorino Claus. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dimitris Moularas got free with Victorino Claus in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 30 minutes into the match, Westie FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ubaldo Argider came free, but Esteve Calisto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, Ubaldo Argider got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Westie FC's Esteve Calisto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubaldo Argider in the 34th minute of play. After having played for 38 minutes, Özcan Sırat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Westie FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Özcan Sırat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Milan's Ubaldo Argider got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Esteve Calisto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ubaldo Argider in the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Özcan Sırat made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Milan got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Romo. Victorino Claus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dimitris Moularas's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Westie FC were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Milan's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Evaristo Pedroso took the corner. The corner ended in Evaristo Pedroso almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Milan's Victorino Claus did a great save. Ubaldo Argider received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Esteve Calisto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victorino Claus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimitris Moularas in the 58th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Evaristo Pedroso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ubaldo Argider struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Esteve Calisto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Milan. After 65 played minutes Westie FC got a freekick which was hit by Victoriano Bieito. Ubaldo Argider fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Calisto having to interfere. Danilo Piearres kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Victorino Claus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Özcan Sırat went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Saturnino Bordat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Milan defense, Özcan Sırat kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victorino Claus. The Milan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victorino Claus should have stopped the shot. Ubaldo Argider struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Esteve Calisto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Milan. Ubaldo Argider blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Esteve Calisto having to make a save. Westie FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Milan for a fine match.
