A nice corner shot did that Jonathan Mendes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ezequiel Centurión quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Fabricio Otsoa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Sidnei de Souza when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Caarapo SS's Sidnei de Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beat Kellenberger in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Caarapo SS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Benedykt Poling was slow to take the kick. During this time Divorciados FC's players had a chance to rest. Cornelio Rudolfo hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Ezequiel Centurión showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastião de Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Beat Kellenberger kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Divorciados FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastião de Lima came free, but Ezequiel Centurión reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabricio Otsoa got free with Sidnei de Souza in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 23rd match minute, Caarapo SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cassidy Wang to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the match, Caarapo SS's goal looked a bit too open when Beat Kellenberger came free, but Sidnei de Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ezequiel Centurión showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastião de Lima in the 27th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beat Kellenberger in the 29th minute of play forced Caarapo SS's goalkeeper Sidnei de Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arturo Vergaray was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Ezequiel Centurión made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastião de Lima in the 32nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Beat Kellenberger in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sidnei de Souza saved Caarapo SS from getting behind. Orvar Bjursell kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabricio Otsoa in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sidnei de Souza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Beat Kellenberger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Caarapo SS's Sidnei de Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabricio Otsoa in the 58th minute of play. Sidnei de Souza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabricio Otsoa went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Sidnei de Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabricio Otsoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 62ndth minute of the game Fabricio Otsoa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caarapo SS's Sidnei de Souza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Caarapo SS defense, Beat Kellenberger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sidnei de Souza. The Caarapo SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sidnei de Souza should have stopped the shot. Sidnei de Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Vergaray in the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th minute of the match Divorciados FC got a corner. Caarapo SS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Benedykt Poling ran over to the corner to take the kick. Fabricio Otsoa charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabricio Otsoa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ezequiel Centurión made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastião de Lima in the 74th minute of play. After having played for 78 minutes, Beat Kellenberger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Divorciados FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beat Kellenberger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Arturo Vergaray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beat Kellenberger charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Beat Kellenberger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Beat Kellenberger kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Sebastião de Lima could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Ezequiel Centurión made a huge save. Sidnei de Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beat Kellenberger in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute of the match Divorciados FC got a corner. Cornelio Rudolfo was shown his second yellow card after 94 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 95th minute, Cornelio Rudolfo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Divorciados FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
