Franciszek Chuchro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 5th minute of play. Franciszek Chuchro came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer. But to his dismay, Gijsbert ter Kruimer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Franciszek Chuchro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 15th minute of play forced 马大哈's goalkeeper Franciszek Chuchro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 16th minute. The corner led Netherlands's Lars Meesters to fire away a dangerous shot which Franciszek Chuchro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Franciszek Chuchro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 20th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in 马大哈's zone, Gustaaf Groeneveldt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Franciszek Chuchro came out of the goal and Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Egbert Nijveldt was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 43 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Egbert Nijveldt got a free kick in the 44th minute. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. In the 47th minute 罗皓镇 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when 罗皓镇 made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes got a free kick in the 50th minute. After having played for 53 minutes, Wim Wilmes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wim Wilmes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 罗皓镇, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 59 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by David Eikelkamp. Franciszek Chuchro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Meesters in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by 罗皓镇 in the 64th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 70 minutes of play, 马大哈's 柳钢烽 made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnout Reekers was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Franciszek Chuchro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 马大哈's Franciszek Chuchro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save 马大哈 from getting a goal against them. Lars Meesters was extremely unlucky when he, in the 81st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 马大哈's 姜青 was substituted for 罗皓镇. Wim Wilmess short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Franciszek Chuchro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 90 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when 温洋树 came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Netherlands's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
