Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Anders Westerstrand kicked off to start the match. After having played for 25 minutes, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Frank Sachs might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Safet Hands. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Sachs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Germany booed when The Obscurials was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walmir Tasso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adriano Ribeiro scored 2-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Frank Sachs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Safet Hands having to make a save. The Obscurials's Safet Hands played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Holweck in the 61st minute of play. Adriano Ribeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 73 minutes of play, The Obscurials's Adriano Ribeiro made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Malte Schiele fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Malte Schiele a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of The Obscurials booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malte Schiele didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute of the match Nelson Wright shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommy Kahn showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Kevin Lyle got a throw-in 83 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Adriano Ribeiro. The Obscurials's Anders Westerstrand got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adriano Ribeiro struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Obscurials. 92 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Anders Westerstrand came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sven Krakouer was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 93 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute, one of Germany:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Germany. Germany's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
