In the 4th minute Germano Vasconcelos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Germano Vasconcelos in the 11th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Victor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sostene Vitulli in the 13th minute of the match. Germano Vasconcelos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Flavio Vittori came out and tried to block the shot, but Germano Vasconcelos slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 20th minute. Italy's Flavio Vittori proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Italy from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Germano Vasconcelos in the 30th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Germano Vasconcelos in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Germano Vasconcelos in the 35th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Germano Vasconcelos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flavio Vittori read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Zaccheo Andolina cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Paulo Victor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Paulo Victor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 56th minute of the match. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Øien in the 60th minute of play. TIMETER EC -DMZ- made a substitution. Andrézinho Recife replaced Sakarias Allbom. TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Fance Salisbury was substituted for Guilherme Félix. TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Juan Pablo Teran in the 63rd minute. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by Italy's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Juan Pablo Teran was slow to take the kick. During this time TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Italy's goalie and right to Filip Mladenovič. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Italy's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 66th match minute, TIMETER EC -DMZ- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Tande to maneuver through the defense. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yang Sang Qian in the 68th minute of play. Flavio Vittori came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Yang Sang Qian. But to his dismay, Yang Sang Qian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Mathias Alves in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Italy's goalie prevented a goal. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathias Alves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 79 minutes into the match, TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Mathias Alves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Flavio Vittori narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. Italy made a substitution. Guiscardo Davide replaced Sigfrido Auletta. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriano Curto in the 85th minute of play forced TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Paulo Victor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the match, TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s goal looked a bit too open when Siricio Liotta came free, but Paulo Victor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adriano Curto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Paulo Victor came out and tried to block the shot, but Adriano Curto slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 90th minute. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Paulo Victor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 93 minutes into the match, Guiscardo Davide dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Paulo Victor, 2-3. The TIMETER EC -DMZ- supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Italy's performance. The match ended with a win for Italy.
