Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Saverio Niva made the kick off which started today's match. 4 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Saverio Niva came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute Saverio Niva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Vancouver Reds's Salvador Tate got a free kick in the 10th minute. Santana Armada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Pimentel in the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Caetano Moreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vancouver Reds's Salvador Tate couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 18th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Portugal. In the 20thth minute of the game Felipe Barreto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vancouver Reds's Santana Armada was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felipe Barreto in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santana Armada saved Vancouver Reds from getting behind. Felipe Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Santana Armada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute, Vancouver Reds's Saverio Niva dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Portugal were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Vancouver Reds's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Felipe Barreto took the corner. The corner led Portugal's Felipe Barreto to fire away a dangerous shot which Santana Armada despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After having played for 41 minutes, Felipe Barreto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Portugal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felipe Barreto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felipe Barreto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santana Armada read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Vancouver Reds's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Moura came free, but Santana Armada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Saverio Niva hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Viriato Moura's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santana Armada read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipe Barreto got free with Santana Armada in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Pimentel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Santana Armada came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Pimentel slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 59th minute. Vancouver Reds's Benicio Valentine was substituted for Cameron Leary. Vancouver Reds made a substitution. Greger Sandström replaced Róbson Queirós. Portugal's attentive Felipinho Amorim managed to snatch the ball when Eugène Jetté made a throw-in in the 70th minute of the game. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benicio Valentine, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Felipinho Amorim's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 77thth minute, Santana Armada skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Vancouver Reds's Greger Sandström was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Wilson Amorim in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Portugal's Daniel Pimentel managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Eugène Jetté in the 89 minute of the game. Felipinho Amorim in the 90thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Santana Armada, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipinho Amorim got free with Santana Armada in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Felipinho Amorim sped through Vancouver Reds's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Santana Armada. 97 minutes into the match, Vancouver Reds's goalkeeper Santana Armada had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipinho Amorim. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
