Indris Tomass fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. Hungary's Fodor Daniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Hungary from getting a goal against them. After 13 played minutes SK Annenieki got a freekick which was hit by Reinholds Jaunzems. With his leg Fodor Daniel managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when SK Annenieki's Artūrs Sagalats fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 20th minute, Antal Valentin made a precise shot to the right of Jānis Lielais. SK Annenieki's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Major Barna came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Major Barna couldn't finish the play. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Fodor Daniel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artūrs Sagalats, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Jānis Lielais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 41 minutes into the game, Antal Valentin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Jānis Lielais was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Indris Tomass in the 44th minute of play.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Major Barna got free with Jānis Lielais in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 52nd minute of the match Hungary got a corner. SK Annenieki's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jānis Lielais made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Antal Valentin sent off a good shot on target. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jāzeps Pics, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fodor Daniel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Indris Tomass went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Balazs Lajos came free with the goalkeeper in the 69th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jānis Lielais could save by the left post. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Jānis Lielais made a huge save. SK Annenieki's Jānis Lielais proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save SK Annenieki from getting a goal against them. SK Annenieki's Ingus Rencis was substituted for Drosmis Kalnaiza. SK Annenieki's Santis Krūzītis was substituted for Renāts Skipors. In the 75th minute of the match Hungary got a corner. In the 80th minute, Vörös Henrik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jānis Lielais made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 84th minute. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jāzeps Pics, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the match, Antal Valentin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jānis Lielais, 1-5. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Artūrs Sagalats in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artūrs Sagalats in the 93rd minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Hungary had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
