Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Willian Pay made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alvaro Errando got free with Honorato Aznaro in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After taking down the ball on AC LeX Luthor's corner Mario Yepes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Honorato Aznaro quite easily take care of the ball. Both players had fought hard during the second half to keep the score at 1-1. The tie meant more entertainment for the crowd as the match moved into extra-time.

After resting during the break, the players from both teams went out on the field looking very concentrated. It was now first half of the overtime. Peep Pronk made the kick off and play began. The score was still level after an even and exciting first-half in extra time. The players took a moment to grab a drink and get instructions from their managers before swapping ends.

When it was time for second half in the overtime, the players were a bit slow, but they soon became more alert when it was time for Sebastian Froylan to make the kick off. Honorato Aznaro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Peep Pronk showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 120 minute of play.
