He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nippur de Lagash 2 reached it. Israel Oliviero's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Maxime Durand on his right side and into the goal. 5 minutes into the game it was 1-0. Maxime Durand was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hernan Lehen showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 7 minute of play. Robert Chapuis hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the match, France's goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Lehen came free, but Maxime Durand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Camille Baume came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the France fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Camille Baume couldn't finish the play. The France fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maxime Durand should have stopped the shot. Camille Baume scored 3-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tito Chayo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 28th minute Hernan Lehen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxime Durand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Casimiro Cordarell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Maxime Durand made a huge save. Maxime Durand made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Casimiro Cordarell sent off a good shot on target. In the 37th minute, Nippur de Lagash 2's Hernan Lehen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Segundo Oro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
