Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Zaccheo Andolina kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frits van Gaal in the 5th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute, Zaccheo Andolina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 10 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Maicon Palmeira came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute, Gomberto Picozzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A sloppy throw-in by Gianpaolo Mascari in the 18th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Gugu Netto. The supporters of Italy booed when S.E. Pindorama Eagles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gugu Netto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flavio Vittori made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Ştefan Magheran sent off a good shot on target. In the 38th minute Ştefan Magheran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the game, Gianpaolo Mascari was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Italy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S.E. Pindorama Eagles the free kick. After 41 played minutes Italy got a freekick which was hit by Gianpaolo Mascari. After 42 played minutes, S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Frits van Gaal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Flavio Vittori came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in S.E. Pindorama Eagles reached it. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ştefan Magheran to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the S.E. Pindorama Eagles defense, Sigfrido Auletta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vassilis Nentakis. The S.E. Pindorama Eagles fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vassilis Nentakis should have stopped the shot. 59 minutes into the match, S.E. Pindorama Eagles's goal looked a bit too open when Siricio Liotta came free, but Vassilis Nentakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vassilis Nentakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vassilis Nentakis made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Sigfrido Auletta sent off a good shot on target. In the 92nd match minute, Italy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gomberto Picozzi to maneuver through the defense. Italy made a substitution. Sansone Vanella replaced Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy's Guiscardo Davide was substituted for Sigfrido Auletta. S.E. Pindorama Eagles made a substitution. Róbson Velasco replaced Ştefan Magheran. Gomberto Picozzi kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Vassilis Nentakis was a little too slow when Adriano Curto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 1-2. The S.E. Pindorama Eagles fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Italy were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
