After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Gordon Suarez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Gordon Suarez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vanadio F.C.'s Errapel Hernando managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Linus Schwerner in the 12 minute of the game. Willy Stieler made in the 21st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Vanadio F.C.'s Giraldo Bermudez. Gordon Suarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frank Sachs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulin Sequeiros having to make a save. Gordon Suarez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Gordon Suarez might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Kahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gordon Suarez ran back to his position shaking his head. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. Willy Stieler made in the 47th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Vanadio F.C.'s Servando Ariztimuño. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Germany's Linus Schwerner managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Servando Ariztimuño in the 53 minute of the game. Willy Stieler charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Willy Stieler the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 54 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Willy Stieler. Vanadio F.C.'s Leizarraga Olmedo was substituted for Roberto Sarri. Albin Holweck hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Leizarraga Olmedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. In the 62nd minute of the match Vanadio F.C. got a corner. Germany's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Maxin Oces ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Vanadio F.C.'s corner Bekir Çağan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tommy Kahn quite easily take care of the ball. Malte Schiele kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leizarraga Olmedo in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. Leizarraga Olmedo took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gordon Suarez in the 82nd minute of play. When Albin Holweck came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albin Holweck couldn't finish the play. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Paulin Sequeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gordon Suarez in the 87th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulin Sequeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 90th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Germany players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Vanadio F.C..
