Eliseo Sagrario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 24th minute of the match. The referee showed Aquilino Bittor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Vamos Los Pibes!!!! getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Aquilino Bittor hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the match was over Netherlands could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Vamos Los Pibes!!!! throughout the match.
